Privacy Policy for LUCA-GPT
Effective Date: September 5, 2025
Overview
LUCA (“the GPT”) is a land use consulting and feasibility analysis tool built and operated by Galaxy Way Co. This page explains what information LUCA processes, how it is used, and your rights.
Information We Process
When you interact with LUCA, we may process:
User Inputs: Text you type into LUCA.
Uploaded Files: Documents, spreadsheets, and other files you choose to provide.
API Calls: To generate feasibility results, LUCA queries public data sources (e.g., Los Angeles County GIS, City of Los Angeles ArcGIS services, HUD datasets). These requests may include parcel IDs, addresses, or geometry data derived from your input.
How We Use Information
To return zoning, parcel, and land use data relevant to your query.
To generate feasibility reports and exports at your request.
To improve LUCA’s accuracy and functionality internally at Galaxy Way Co.
What We Do Not Do
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
We do not use LUCA to track or profile individual users.
Data Sharing
LUCA makes requests to third-party government/public GIS servers (e.g., public.gis.lacounty.gov, services5.arcgis.com, services1.arcgis.com) strictly for the purpose of retrieving zoning and planning data. These services may log requests at the server level.
Data Retention
User inputs and uploaded files are processed in-session by OpenAI and Galaxy Way Co.
We do not store personal data long-term beyond what is necessary to operate LUCA or as otherwise required by law.
Your Choices
Do not input sensitive personal information (e.g., SSNs, financial account numbers) into LUCA.
You may request deletion of any retained data by contacting us at the email below.
