Privacy Policy for LUCA

Effective Date: March 6, 2026 Overview

LUCA ("Land-Use Consultant & Analyst") is a web-based zoning and feasibility analysis tool built and operated by Galaxy WayCo (GALAXY WAY COMPANY LLC). This page explains what information LUCA collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

Information We Collect

When you use LUCA, we may collect or process:

  • Account data: Your email address and subscription status, stored securely via Supabase.

  • Usage data: The number of queries you make per billing period, used to enforce subscription limits.

  • Query content: The addresses or parcels you submit are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate AI analysis, and to public government GIS APIs to retrieve parcel and zoning data. These are processed in real time and are not stored by Galaxy WayCo after your session ends.

  • Payment data: Billing is handled entirely by Stripe. Galaxy Way Co. does not store or have access to your payment card information.

How We Use Information

  • To authenticate your account and manage your subscription

  • To retrieve live zoning, parcel, and land-use data in response to your queries

  • To generate AI-powered feasibility analysis via Anthropic's Claude API

  • To track monthly query usage against your subscription plan

  • To communicate with you about your account or changes to our service

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties

  • We do not store conversation history after your session ends

  • We do not use your inputs to train AI models

  • We do not profile or track individual users for advertising purposes

Third-Party Services

LUCA relies on the following third-party services to operate:

  • Anthropic (Claude API): Processes your query content to generate AI responses. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

  • Supabase: Stores account and usage data. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.

  • Stripe: Processes subscription payments. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

  • Netlify: Hosts the LUCA web application. Standard server access logs may be retained per Netlify's data retention policies.

  • Public GIS APIs: LUCA queries LA County Assessor and LA City Planning ArcGIS services (e.g., public.gis.lacounty.gov, services5.arcgis.com, zimas.lacity.org) to retrieve parcel and zoning data. These government servers may log requests at the server level.

Data Retention

  • Account and usage data is retained for the duration of your active subscription and deleted upon request.

  • Query content and AI responses are not stored by Galaxy WayCo after your session ends.

  • Payment records are retained by Stripe per their standard policies.

Your Choices

  • Do not input sensitive personal information (e.g., Social Security numbers, financial account numbers) into LUCA.

  • You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us at the email below.

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
